Yeah. I'd kinda mentioned it to a guy that was a friend of his apparently, and how I kept meaning to thank him but I get so goddamn emotional over it that it's ... it's difficult. He said the guy doesn't really get thanked ever, so if I could manage it'd probably mean a lot to him. So, yeah.

Did you manage to do it then?

[somanyfeelings]

Yeah. [Huff, pressing his face against Makoto as he holds tighter, muttered.] Then I got all weepy and I had to see you. I'm such a loser.

[He moves one of his hand to start petting Gokudera's hair]

I don't think you're a loser. I'm glad you were able to do what you felt was right in your heart. I know that sort of thing takes courage that you have a lot of.

[somanyfeelings]

[... sniffles]

[He nuzzles into his hair comfortingly.]

Do you want to come in?

Yeah. [He just wants to curl up against Makoto and cuddle or something.]

[He pulls away and places a hand against his back and leads him into the swim club.]

Haru got sick from pushing himself too much working on the pool. I've been working more on the other rooms and the locker rooms. It's been a lot of work.

[He leads him to the room where he and Haru have been staying. It's still too scary for him to be by himself.

Where they're sleeping is really pathetic. It looks like it's just some blankets and pillows thrown together. It was no wonder Haruka is sick.]

Really gotta get a real mattress in here. [But even a pile of pillows is perfect with Makoto there.] I think I know where to find a couple, though frames might be a no-go. [Also thinking logistics gets his mind off of other things.]

[thekillerwhale]

Yeah...It's no good sleeping on the floor. It's really starting to take a toll on my back. [He stretches it out to emphasize.]

Even if there isn't a frame, anything is good. I was even thinking of a futon. When we get the place cleaned up more and it's not as creepy, I'll move into my own space.

[But he's found himself holding onto Haruka's shirt at night just like when they were kids because he's so unnerved.]

Would it help if I was over more? [Gokudera sits down in the bed pile in the meantime, holding his arms up in invitation for Makoto to join him. He's trying really hard to not be like a clingy girlfriend. Which is what he'd be like if left to his own devices.]

[He sits down next to him and leans into those waiting arms. He lets out a soft laugh.]

Yeah, I think so. You always make me feel safer when you're around.

[He looks up at him.]

I'm sorry that I've been so busy recently.

[somanyfeelings]

I have, too. Things just get crazy around here. [He's quick to cuddle when Makoto sits down next to him and leans into the embrace.] How's the pool coming?

[thekillerwhale]

[Makoto happily cuddles with Gokudera, having missed his warmth.

He lets out a sigh ]

It's going really slowly. Besides you and the others, only one person replied to my asking for help on the pool, so...

Haru and I have been trying to tackle it. The others help, but since we're staying here, we've been working on it longer.

[somanyfeelings]

Hey, that just means it'll really be yours, right? [Gokudera leans up and kisses Makoto's cheek.]

[thekillerwhale]

I guess it will.

[There's the faintest of a blush on Makoto's cheeks when a kiss is pressed on his cheek.]

You can finally swim with us once everything is done.
