He lets out another yawn as he stretches.]

I'm helping. [The innocent tone doesn't go far when matched with the mischievous grin.] Come on. [He takes one of the scavenged blankets to take outside with them, holding it in one hand and holding Makoto's in his other while he lead the other boy out into the crisp night air.

The sky was clear. He wanted to look at the stars. Once under them, he checked his PCD quickly, then tossed the blanket at Makoto - a refrain from his first meeting of the other boy - and stood on his tip-toes to kiss the swimmer that had become so important to him since then.]

Happy birthday. I wanted to be the first one to say it.

[He catches the blanket with a sense of deja-vu then kissed him back gently.

He couldn't help but let a smile bloom on his face at the birthday wishes from one of the most important people to him here.]

So much has happened that it doesn't feel like it's been that long for me. But at the same time, it feels like I've known you for years. Is that weird?

Hmmm. I think that happens in sorta life-or-death type situations? Kinda forces you to live by the hour. I think that's a thing.

[Gokudera yawns a little, leaning into Makoto's warmth.] I... really wish I could do normal boyfriend stuff for you on your birthday, like go to an arcade or a movie or something, but ... honestly I don't think I'd know how, so I'd probably mess it up. This is probably a fuckin' blessing in disguise.

I don't think so. I think you'd do just as well as you're doing now.

Definately action movies! Especially ones with lots of explosions. [Like that's surprising.] I also like sci-fi and paranormal stuff... [Whiiiich kinda includes horror flicks.]

except for horror movies. I-I can't do horror movies. Or I'd scream in the theater and hide my face.
